1. What we collect

When a parent submits an inquiry through a gym listing, we collect the information they provide: name, email address, phone number (optional), child's age, and any message text. We forward this directly to the gym owner and store it in our database so the owner can manage their leads.

When a gym owner creates an account or claims a listing, we collect their email address and any profile information they choose to add.

We also collect standard server logs and analytics data (page views, referrers, device type) to understand how our site is used. We use Plausible Analytics — a privacy-friendly, cookie-free analytics tool that does not track individuals.

2. How we use your data

To connect parents with gymnastics gyms in their area
To notify gym owners of new parent inquiries
To send gym owners a weekly summary of their profile activity
To improve our directory and user experience
To process payments for premium listing plans (via Stripe)

We do not sell your data. We do not share it with advertisers.

3. Data sharing

Parent inquiry data (name, email, phone, message) is shared with the gym the parent contacted — and only that gym. We use the following third-party services:

Supabase — database and authentication
Resend — transactional email delivery
Stripe — payment processing for gym owner plans
Vercel — hosting and edge computing
Plausible — privacy-first analytics

4. Cookies

We use a single authentication session cookie for logged-in gym owners. We do not use tracking cookies or advertising cookies. Plausible Analytics does not use cookies.

5. Data retention

Lead inquiries are retained as long as the gym owner's account is active, and for up to 2 years after account closure. Gym owners may request deletion of their data at any time by contacting us.

6. Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by emailing hello@gymnasticsus.com. We will respond within 30 days.
